Property: Self-catering holiday cottage
This was a most wonderful week well spent in this beautiful cottage. My daughter Lyla loved it and ran everywhere playing with toys, books and hidden treasures :) my husband and I were really impressed at how the cottage layout and all that's in it has been so well thought out to offer such a comfortable stay. We loved every minute of our stay and hope that we'll be back some time soon! Thank you so much!
Thank you for letting us stay in such a fantastic cottage! It was the perfect setting to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary. We can highly recommend the tall tree trail which is only a short drive away. The owl in the evening is soothing and it's amazing to see the deer in the field behind!
We have enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The wonderful weather helped too. So much thought has gone into equipping the cottage and we found it very comfortable and welcoming. Lots of good places to eat in the area and plenty to do. We loved Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu.
Had a great time here in this lovely cottage. Well equipped and very family orientated - loved the table tennis, it kept us amused in the evenings! Thank you.
Oh my goodness, what an amazing cottage. If you ever want to sell it give us a call!! Loved absolutely everything (despite us all banging our heads on several occasions!!). It is so refreshing to have such a well-equipped kitchen, DVDs and games etc. So much thought has gone into making us guests feel totally at home. All the little notes everywhere about keys, local amenities etc were so appreciated. My husband hasn't stopped talking about moving here since we got here and has been looking online but can't find anything to beat this. We could have stayed forever :)
This has to be the best equipped holiday home we've rented. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of the New Forest! Loads of days out exploring - Highcliffe beach was particularly lovely, sandy and not too busy and a delicious meal at the Cliff House, Barton on Sea. We'd love to come back again. Thank you.
We had a lovely stay and enjoyed being at the cottage.
The cottage was beautiful. Everything was catered for. Very comfortable. Homey feel. We loved our week in Walnut tree Cottage. So glad we found it. Thankyou.
Yes, we really did enjoy our stay, thank you!!
This place is gorgeous and very well equipped. We were very impressed to find a Christmas tree up and other decorations for our December stay, it was a lovely touch. Also lovely that you provide tea, coffee, milk and biscuits for arrival. We had a really great stay, thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is exceptional and we appreciated the little touches such as milk in the fridge, fresh flowers and biscuits! We particularly liked the fantastic towels! We would definitely stay again!
An excellent place, historic, interesting, very comfortable, every mod con and detail there for you. Some low ceilings you will bump your head, but that’s part of the historic charm and only in parts of the house. A huge amount of living space, and very tasteful.
A lovely stay. Good location for the New Forest and the beaches. We visited the Plough for two evening meals. Good food, service and prices. Also the Crown in Everton provided another exellent meal. We would recommend the cottage.
Very well equipped and spacious cottage. Lovely kichen and lounge in particular. Good location for both new forest and coast.
The property was ideal for our family group. Exceptionally well equipped and beautifully furnished and clean. Ample space and safe enclosed garden for our grandson to play in. The great selection of toys was a bonus. Table tennis in the garage was enjoyed by all. Location very good near forest and coast. We were lucky to have good weather but the selection of DVD's games and books would be ideal in wet weather.
An absolutely stunning cottage with the thoughtful owner having thought of every single thing. Including detailed instructions, toys for babies and toddlers and books for older children too. The kitchen was very well equipped with every possible equipment one would need and the garden is big enough and beautiful. Me and my family had a lovely holiday, thank you!
The cottage is perfect ! Location in the South pf New Forest and close to the sea is very good. The house is easy to find and still in a very quiet area with very nice views from the first floor ! The house is very well equiped and was all clean and warm when we arrived. Highly recommended !!! Aurelie and Thomas
