The bustling port town of Lymington is full of history and character. Its eye-catching Georgian High Street hosts a popular street-market every Saturday morning - the purveyor of delicacies, crafts, and antiques - believed to date back as far as the 13th century. Explore the cobbled streets and discover the traditional pubs, tea rooms, cafes, bistros, and restaurants, as well as a host of shops and galleries. At the heart of the town lies the historic wharf, where boat trips run to and from the Solent, and a car and passenger ferry runs daily excursions to the Isle of Wight. This popular sailing resort has two large marinas, two sailing clubs, and also a Roman seawater baths - a popular attraction on a hot summer’s day and only a short walk from the Old Town Quay. This beautiful Hampshire market town is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty; the ancient woodlands and heathlands of the New Forest to the north, and the magnificent Solent views to the south. West of the town lies a four mile stretch of coastal nature reserve which ends at Hurst Spit. During the 19th century, Lymington was a thriving centre for shipbuilding; it’s also the setting for an abundance of smugglers’ tales with accounts of tunnels running from the old inns and under the High Street to the town quay.

The exceptionally appointed, Victorian, 2 bedroom terrace, Seagull Cottage (sleeps 5), offers dog-friendly accommodation in the heart of Lymington, close to the Quay. Its superb position, and stylish interiors have made it a firm favourite among our guests, many of whom return to this cottage year after year.

10 Admirals Court (sleeps 2) is a newly refurbished one bedroom apartment enjoying stunning views over the Quay, providing the perfect bolthole for couples looking to enjoy everything this vibrant seaside town has to offer.
