We had a lovely stay, the cottage is lovely, cleanliness was fantastic. The cottage is comfortable and cosy, great location for town and new forest. Only the bed let it down.
Lovely house in a great convenient location. Very impressed with the house and the organisation of it. Would definitely recommend.
Had a fab stay here - lovely home from home. Great that you can walk to the Salterns from here and enjoy freedom from the car!
Very comfortable stay.
Four nights in this lovely cosy cottage. Very comfortable but steep stairs!! Love the garden and all the thoughtful touches in the cottage - much appreciated. Thank you for the milk and biscuits on arrival.
We enjoyed our stay. The property was spotless and the kitchen equipment was very good. It was a shame that the seating let it down. We will definitely visit the area again.
highly recommend to friends and family
Just loved the house and garden. Lymington is a great place to start exploring the area!
Lovely Cottage, lovely weather. We can only echo other lovely comments about the cottage. The owner deserves all of the praise she has received. Many thanks for the complimentary items.
Lovely cottage, great location - Bournemouth a must visit. Lovely walks within New Forest. A place to come back to - thank you!!!
We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage! The weather was sunny and warm and our dog loved the garden. Great base for trips to the beach and into the Forest!
Second visit to cottage, everything lovely, lovely new shower room/bathroom. Garden could benefit from sun umbrella. Would certainly recommend cottage to others. Thank you.
Had a wonderful stay. Our 2nd year. Cottage lovely and bathroom and shower room done to a high standard. Location great. Hopefully looking forward to coming back next year!!
We loved the cottage and we had a great time, with our dog. The Waitrose being just around the corner was very practical and the Quay was only a 20 minute stroll. Fantastic.
What a perfect holiday cottage! Thank you very much for a lovely stay.
The weather could have been better but we still had a lovely time. I love the stylish cottage, it is so peaceful and handy. Thank you. And someone's a gardener, it looks beautiful.
Lovely cottage. Very stylish and warm. Nice trip to the Isle of Wight.
Great cottage, slept well, peaceful, warm and felt like home.
Second stay in the cottage and many more to come. Great location, lovely cottage, great garden, very much a home from home. Love the log burner but never got to use it as had such great weather. See you next year cottage.
Good for forests and beaches, easy walk to the high street, cosy and comfy house. Thank you.
Enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and great location. Appreciated the fire's features.
Had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We felt at home here. Many thanks
We had a lovely time in Lymington and ventured out everyday to visit the surrounding area. Lymington was a great base to use. Waitrose on the doorstep was handy. The walk to the highstreet is only 5 minutes but then that is to the top of the highstreet. Probably worth advising that the walk to the other end (the quay end) is more like 20 minutes.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Sherston Cottage and you thought the location was perfect. We will take on board your comments about advising the distance to the quay as 20 minutes. We look forward to welcoming you back to The New Forest in the future.

The cottage really was a home from home; it was comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped. The town of Lymington is very pretty with some great places to eat and drink out.
A delightful cottage, well equipped with everything you need. Very steep stairs should be mentioned at time of booking though.
Thank you for your comments, that's great to hear. We are sorry you felt the steep stairs should have been clearer when booking. We have now put measures in place to ensure that this information is clear on the website and that each guest is advised when booking. We hope you will return to the New Forest again soon.
