Recently refurbished throughout to include new kitchen and bathrooms, this fabulous property is light and airy, comfortably and tastefully furnished to a high standard. Equipped with a superb kitchen, generous living space, Egyptian Cotton bedding and attractive south west facing garden this beautifully redecorated house is the perfect location for families wanting a central Lymington base for a holiday.
The popular Lymington High Street is less than a 5-minute walk from the house includes many shops, several pubs, restaurants, cafés and a mini Tesco. Marks & Spencer Food Hall and Waitrose are also located in the town. There is a large local high street market every Saturday which is well worth a visit. Enjoy browsing in the independent shops, stop for a coffee or crab sandwich as you walk down the famous Cobbles to the Quay to watch the ever-changing scene on the Lymington River; also, just a 5-minute walk away. Walk five minutes to the local railway station and catch a train to Lymington Pier for the ferry to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight or inland to the popular New Forest village of Brockenhurst.
The Lymington Seawater Baths open from May until September is a great place for the children and adults to spend an afternoon. If you enjoy walking or cycling there are plenty of opportunities from Sea Salt including a lovely route to the Sea Wall (part of the Solent Way) or via the train or a short drive to Brockenhurst to explore the miles of walking/cycle tracks available to all.

I would say the owners should be congratulated on creating such a lovely property. Any guest would be delighted to put the key in the door and step into Sea Salt. It is a stunning house and very comfortable. The owners have thought through everything, and it oozes quality from the lovely soft towels, very comfortable beds and sparkling linen to the bright and light living dining & kitchen areas and out into the pretty garden.. The house is also spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Its location is very good, being a short walking distance to the train station and all the shops, bars & restaurants of Lymington. You could quite easily leave your car behind and spend a week there cycling around and walking along the coastline – everything to have a perfect holiday is so close by. The bread, butter & milk supplied on arrival was also appreciated.
We really enjoyed staying at the property. It is a very nice house and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and good linen, duvets etc. The one thing we would like to feed back though (very minor observation) is that the dishwasher was very difficult to stack with the glasses and cups. It must have a very shallow top shelf as we were fighting with it every day. The glasses were too bottom heavy so kept falling over. Maybe a good idea to just buy some smaller glasses. We would definitely recommend the house to others.
We thought it was absolutely amazing and a beautiful property. I don’t think there is anything they could have done better to be honest. The house was stylish and great for the family. The only small thing is the head room coming down the stairs. There is a sign there but it could be worth making it a bit more obvious because we both hit our heads a few times. We don’t mind, we live in a house the same!!! But some people may mind. It’s honestly not a criticism at all. It’s the issue you have in old houses! Other than that, zero issues and they have done an amazing job. Huge congrats for their first few weeks! We will be back!
Sea Salt was very comfortable and with excellent beds ensured we were relaxed for our short stay. The downstairs was also very comfortable with plenty of space for a large family to relax and socialise together with the layout of the room suiting our needs with the children. The owners were very quick to respond to any queries we had in regards to the high tech fire place and heating. A very late last minute booking and all our need were met, we would definitely stay again. One of the nicest properties we have had the pleasure to stay in.
