The New Forest Show: 25th-27th July – in the Top Ten Best Agricultural Shows in the UK
It’s one of the best for good reason!
There are 4 showrings for a start, each with a full timetable of displays, competitions, demonstrations, parades and music. Huge tents are home to plants in peak condition, rare horticultural specimens and kaleidoscopic swathes of cut flower displays. Huge marquees are filled with stunning arts and crafts, which, along with shopping pavilions and trade stands, offer a blissful retail therapy experience. You can wander around the pens of handsome livestock who are washed, dried, groomed and titivated in anticipated of winning coveted rosettes and trophies for their owners. And little ones will love a snuggly cuddle with animals in the show farm before heading out to explore the discovery zone and family fun area.
With the New Forest being a foodie hot spot, you’ll find all the finest producers, artisans and purveyors of amazing delectable goodies in the food hall, produce market, tea rooms and of course, the essential for any country show – beer tents.
