Spring is in the air and with the celebration of new beginnings, we’re really excited to introduce Apple Court House to our portfolio.

This Victorian dwelling was once an apple barn which has been remodelled into a large country house sleeping nine guests. The owners have thoughtfully designed the interior and added mod cons to create a deliciously comfortable and relaxing holiday home.

Quality furnishings and décor are a mix of neutral pallets, with each room punctuated by pops of pretty colour. Downstairs flows seamlessly to create a wonderful social space. Guests will enjoy the views from an attractive conservatory and multiple sets of French doors from other rooms, which overlook the substantial lawned gardens. During the colder months, you can snuggle down in front of big open fires in the lounge and huge kitchen diner. There are two staircases leading to five big and bright bedrooms, each enjoying views over the gardens and surrounding countryside, and serviced by two bathrooms featuring a jacuzzi bath and walk-in showers.

It’s the location of this holiday home that will appeal to visitors; Apple Tree Court is at the southern edge of the national park and less than two miles to the coast and beaches. Next door is the internationally acclaimed Apple Court Gardens, covering just over an acre with carefully sculpted displays of rare plants, trees and flowers from around the world. Jump in the car and you’ll find New Forest horse riding in Bashley, Barton on Sea Golf club and the market town of New Milton within a five minute drive.

In Milford-on-Sea to the east, are two of the area’s best restaurants: Verveine Fish Market and Restaurant and La Perle. On the village beach, you can take lessons or hire paddleboards and kayaks. If you fancy a walk, follow the one and a half mile pebble spit past Keyhaven nature reserve to King Henry VIII’s coastal fortress, Hurst Castle, and take in the spectacular views across to the Isle of Wight.

The former home of Mr Selfridge, Highcliffe Castle which appeared in the hit TV series of the same name, is only 5 miles away. Adjacent to the castle is another lovely golf course, Steamer Point Nature Reserve and Highcliffe’s beautiful, soft sandy beach.

If you’re looking to bring family and friends to a luxurious holiday home – close to gorgeous coastline and a magical forest – Apple Court House is the place for you.
