Southlings Annexe is the perfect bolthole for a couple looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The welcoming ambience and peace and tranquillity found at Southlings is lovely, enough to never want to return home.

Adjoined to the owners home, Southlings Annexe, has its own private entrance, parking space and private sunny sitting area for guests to enjoy during their stay. Inside the property, on the ground floor, walk straight into the large open plan living area including a well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and dining table to seat four.

Stairs lead up into the sunny bedroom with large king size bed and TV for those lazy holiday mornings. The en suite bathroom includes a large bath with thermostatic shower over for guests convenience.

Locally, the village of Sway provides all the basic amenities for your stay. The Hare and Hounds pub is a two minute walk from the property which serves food all day - ideal for days when cooking is not an option! A further 15 minute walk into the village and you will find a butcher, Deli and Coffee shop, small convenience store and another popular restaurant The Manor at Sway.

Open forest is just a short 2 minute walk away, with miles of cycle and walking routes to follow. Nearby popular village of Brockenhurst is just a 10 minute drive away.

For those looking to leave the car behind, Sway railway station offers excellent links to Brockenhurst, New Milton, Christchurch, Ashurst and Beaulieu Road. The mainline route also allows you to travel to Southampton, Winchester and Bournemouth with ease.

Southlings Annexe is a fantastic hideaway where couples can relax and we have no hesitation in recommending this property to guests.

Dining table with seating for four, kitchen area with electric oven and hob, combi microwave, slimline dishwasher and fridge with ice box and washing machine.
Stairs to the spacious bedroom with king size bed (5ft), cot bed suitable for a child under five and ample storage.
Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC. Please note, due to a sloping ceiling the shower has restricted head height.

To the left of the annexe is a private shingle seating area with garden furniture surrounded by colourful shrubs. Sun loungers can be provided.

For up to two cars on private driveway.

Included Bed linen and towels (bring own beach towels), electricity and gas central heating, WiFi and cot bed suitable for a small child up to five years (please bring own cot bedding).

Apart from the above comments my stay was enjoyable and the village of Sway a very pleasant one to wander round of an evening. The position of the shower over the bath was such that I, at 6ft 7inches, was only just able to stand upright and it would be a good idea to mention this in the property details.

This cottage was perfect for our requirements, well laid out, nicely furnished and very well equipped. Just as important it's in a superb location with all the advantages of a village, good pub, shop etc whilst being very quiet, peaceful and within easy walking distance to good walks. Tall people need to take care in the shower though this should not put anyone off.

If you are looking for a tranquill location with ready access to the forest and coast then this is the place for you. A lovely well equiped annexe with friendly owners and convenient private parking. A bedroom ceiling fan proved indispensable during the heatwave. We had a most enjoyable stay and hope to return in the future.

Lovely annexe. So well equipped, everything here, home from home. Comfortable and clean. Surrounding area stunning, cycling near by in New Forest. Hosts very welcoming and good humoured.
