This was one of our best holidays; from moonlit walks by the sea with the dog, learning to paddle board and hosting a wonderful family get together. Ruby Cottage is in a great place for exploring and relaxing. The crab sandwiches at The Gun are still as good as they were last time we visited. Highly recommended as a holiday home from home.
Such a lovely spot for a real family-feel, holiday home with great walking along the coast. Excellent view from the top floors - felt almost, ship-like with all the stairs. Well equipped kitchen.
We had a lovely holiday at Ruby Cottage and the location was perfect for nice morning walks and enjoying the wild life. The cottage was well equipped and we were very pleased to find fresh bread, milk and tea bags ready for our arrival. Would recommend Ruby Cottage as a peaceful home from home. Thanks for the recommendation Newforest Cottages.
We really enjoyed our stay a Ruby Cottage. It was very well equipped and comfortable. We were delighted to arrive and discover a few items like bread, milk, tea, coffee, squash, dishwasher tablets and soap etc. were supplied and generously so. The beds had cotton duvet covers. It was clean throughout and everything worked as it was meant to! We were undisturbed by the noise from the traffic and general bustle that was going on outside. We took our bikes all around the area and made good use of The Gun pub, who were very friendly with delicious food. We will be returning again. Thank you so much.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ruby Cottage - so much so that we left a few things behind! The owner has promised to send them on to us however and we are happy to reimburse her for this.
