Thank you Liz and Simon for making the cottage so inviting. We had everything we needed and the place was beautiful. Only downside is that we didn't see your lovely garden in all its glory. Bulbs and plants popping up everywhere but too early in the year to see the display. Will definitely be recommending your cottage to friends.
We had a very good stay. The location in terms of ease of getting to beautiful places on the coast and in the Forest was excellent. On a very quiet lane with plenty of parking. Cottage was spotless and recently decorated to high standard. Well maintained little garden. Enjoyed wood burner with supply of wood etc provided. Only (minor) downside were the low ceilings in sitting room and some doorways.
We had fantastic few days staying at this stunningly beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean
We've had a great half term week and have very much enjoyed staying in Fyfield Cottage. It's been very comfortable and we've enjoyed using the wood burner in the evening. This is a great base for enjoying the coast and the new Forest. Highlights for us have been: 1. Crabbing at the bridge at the end of Hurst spit and then walking out to Hurst castle and back on the ferry. 2. Walking from Blenheim to Bucklers Hard and back along the river. 3. Lunch and walk from the Fleur de Lys pub at Pilley – the food was way better than usual pub grub. 4. A bracing walk and brunch at the beach hut café at Mudeford
What a beautiful place to stay! The village is peaceful and quite, but friendly too. A great place to explore the new Forest from. The house is just stunning! So cosy and comfortable. We just loved chilling in the different parts of the garden. Such care and attention to detail was put into this property and definitely want to come back and enjoy it all again! Many thanks
Wow! What a week!! We have had fabulous weather and a wonderful week in and around The Forest. Our children have been in their element. The house is simply stunning. So very, very clean. Comfortable beds. Great supplies provided, from milk, to kitchen rolls to loo rolls. It has made our week staying here, even better as we felt 'at home'. The children have loved the garden and the 'ol man' loved the barbeque. The people that we have seen locally are all very friendly. The park up the road is a must visit for anyone with children. Thank you,
