Building work next door. It never bothered us or effected our stay I any way, it may be a cause of concern for some people
No complaints, in fact we may look to rebook next year Recommend Albero restaurant went there twice moors Valley park near Ringwood good for up to 8/9 worth mentioning that every Friday at ten pm during August, there are fireworks off the pier.picnic on the beach or grabs some chips
Our second stay in the cottage. A wonderful location, being able to walk straight you onto the common land, yet close to the main road. Brockenhurst is convenient since it it right in the middle of the New Forest so able to get anywhere fairly easily, although Lyndhurst needs a bypass!
We did enjoy our stay - the cottage was well equipped and roomy and had easy access to the many activities and attractions that are available locally.
We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay here with the family but next time we will, unfortunately need to find a bigger property.
We always enjoy staying at 2 Knoll Cottages - a lovely home from home in a great location.
2 Knoll cottages is a fantastic base for lots of activities. It is spacious, warm and tastefully decorated. We have stayed twice and hope to visit again. We are grateful to the owner for sorting out the broken dishwasher swiftly.
A perfect and quiet location close to the lovely village of Brockenhurst. The cottage was a lovely size for 6, and the furniture was all comfortable. If you like leaving your car alone and just walking this is an ideal spot.
Excellent location with the forest on your doorstep.
Absolutely loved our all too short stay at the property. We have been to Brockenhurst before so it was easy to find our way around. The location of the property was unbelievably good with a view out to open countryside and still just a very short walk into the village. The property was well equipped and felt very homely. Kids loved it. On arrival, we found that the light in the bathroom wasn't working and couldn't find any spare bulbs so bought one the next morning and did a balancing act to replace it. These things happen. We will be back in the forest again in the future so will be hoping to book this cottage.
Wonderful cottage!! We will definitely be back x
We didn't think it was quite as clean as other years - a few cobwebs and the windows needed a bit of a clean, but the main living areas were up to their usual good standard. It is always a very comfortable base for our holiday in such a great area. We had a lovely time, as always, and are already looking forward to our next visit.
What a beautiful cottage! We couldn't have asked for a better location right by the forest and the stream! We have 3 children aged 6, 3 and 2 and we felt they were safe playing outside and they loved exploring and splashing in the stream. The cottage itself was very well equipped and clean. We would definitely stay again.
Really a lovely location and plenty of space for grandparents, mother (daughter) and grandchildren.
Loved the cottage, couldn't fault it.
Great property, a home-from-home, in a great New Forest location.
Loved the location of the cottage very peaceful, but there is everything on your doorstep. The cottage is very roomy, bedrooms all good size lovely modern kitchen with everything you need. Also a down stair toilet which is very useful when a few people staying there. Nice lounge with 2 comfy settees, television and a open fire
A lovely cottage in an excellent position.
Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. Perfectly situated in the forest.
