Built in the early 18th century, this Grade II listed thatched cob cottage is located centrally within the village of Hordle. Village shops, the pub and petrol station are all close by, but the cottage with its swimming pool and south facing garden provides a fully enclosed oasis of calm. The cottage retains many of its original features and internal timbers. The owner occupies a small ground floor annexe and there is shared use of the hallway and the external utility room.
Accommodation: Hallway. Beamed sitting room with colour television , VCR and stereo. There is a small step down into the sitting room. Kitchen/breakfast room with gas hob and electric double oven, fridge, freezer and microwave. Access from patio to utility room with washer-drier and ironing facilities. Stairs to First Floor: Bedroom one - 4'6" double bed and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, basin and w.c. Bedroom two - two 3' beds and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, basin and w.c. Bedroom three - 4'6" double bed and en-suite bathroom with a bath with hand shower over, basin and w.c. There is a small step down into bedroom three from the landing.
