Holiday Cottages in Minstead
With its traditional village green, Minstead is set deep in the Forest to the north west of Lyndhurst. The village church has an unusual 'triple-decker' pulpit and Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle is buried in the churchyard. Minstead is home to Furzey Gardens containing 8 acres of landscaped gardens containing many interesting and rare plants. There is also a gallery, open to the public from March to October, as well as a tree house and play area for children.
The village pub is called The Trusty Servant and has an unusual sign of a man with a donkey’s ear, a pig's snout and stag's feet. Minstead is enjoyed by residents and visitors alike for its beautiful landscape, great walking and cycling routes and its amenities.
