A small country town with lots of interesting shops, cosy pubs and excellent restaurants.
A seven arch bridge that was built in medieval times connects the town across the river.
Sitting on the North Western edge of the New Forest Fordingbridge gives easy access for walkers, ramblers and cyclists.
For walking and cycling, the New Forest National Park makes for a perfect destination. Wander the woods or the beautiful heathland or jump on a bike (readily available for hire across the Forest) to explore. Despite its small geographical area, there are a large number of things to see and do in the New Forest.
If you’re looking for something different, hire an electric Twizy. Spend an action-packed day at Beaulieu. Take a trip on the New Forest Tour Bus for a birds-eye view of the landscape and stop off and spend some time in one of the Park’s enchanting villages. Visit Bucklers Hard, a fascinating village and museum into the area’s maritime history. Nearby Paultons Park in the north eastern corner of the New Forest is home to Peppa Pig World, making it a must visit for families with children boasting over 60 rides and regularly voted the UK’s number 1 theme park on Trip Advisor.
