This traditional detached log cabin is tucked away down a forest track and perfectly placed for visitors wishing to have a peaceful, rural break. The south facing garden has views over paddocks making it ideal for al fresco dining whilst the log burning stove is available for cosy winter evenings in. The Log Cabin is a 5 minute drive from the world famous Pepper Pig World at Paultons Park a must for visitors with young Pepper Pig fans! The property lends itself for both couples and families alike throughout the year. The safe location makes it an ideal area for children and pets to play and it is possible to walk or cycle across the forest from the property. Animals can often be seen roaming on the common land around the cabin. Stabling and grazing for horses available 1/2 mile from the property by negotiation with the owners, with direct access to the New Forest it really is the ideal spot to explore the area on horse back. There are various golf courses, riding stables, Wellow fishing lakes and the towns of Romsey, Southampton and Salisbury are all close by.
Accommodation:
Entrance through kitchen. Kitchen includes electric eyelevel oven, calor gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, larder fridge, fridge/freezer, washing machine in separate utility room.
Lounge/dining area has dining for six people, wood burning stove, TV, DVD, CD and Wi-Fi. French doors leading to south facing raised decking area.
Master double bedroom with 4' 6" bed, TV, dressing room (with washing machine), ensuite shower room with shower, hand basin and WC.
Second bedroom with two 3' beds.
Third bedroom with two 3ft bunk beds.
The family bathroom has a corner bath with shower over, hand basin and WC.
Outside: 300m tarmac track leads from forest road to the property where there is parking for several cars. South facing garden with decked terrace and lawned area, barbeque and patio furniture. Views over open paddocks. The cabin is adjacent to Sedgemoor Farm which is a non-working farm.
Included: Duvets, pillows, normal use of gas and electricity are provided. The first basket of logs, kindling and firelighters are supplied (logs are available at a neighbour's yard)
Bed linen available for hire for £10.00 per person per week. Towels can be hired for £5.00 per person per week.
Security Deposit £100 refunded by the owner
Children Accepted, standard cot and high chair available. (Please provide own cot bedding)
Pets Up to two well behaved dogs accepted.(Please note there is a standard charge of £25 per pet per week). Stabling and grazing for horses available 1/2 mile from the property by negotiation with the owners directly.
