Holiday Refund Scheme

To avoid disappointment in the event of your having to cancel your holiday, we operate the following limited refund scheme.

In the event of the following specific reasons necessarily and unavoidably causing cancellation of your holiday:

  1. Death, accident or sickness (save for illness existing at the time of booking), jury service or witness summons of yourself or any person in your party
  2. Death, accident or sickness (save for illness existing at the time of booking) of any parent, child or partner of yourself or any person in your party
  3. Fire, storm, flood or malicious damage rendering your home uninhabitable
  4. Police requiring your presence following a burglary or other incident at your home

then at our sole discretion we would refund monies paid less the booking fee, any credit card surcharges and  a 10% administration charge up to an amount not exceeding in total £400. This total drops to £200 if cancellation is within 14 days of the holiday start-date or the holiday itself is curtailed. The scheme does not cover any other reasons or circumstances which may cause the cancellation or curtailment of your holiday, and is only available when the holiday has been paid for in full.

In the event of a possible claim arising under the above scheme, you should please:

  1. give us immediate notice of the event giving rise to the possible claim
  2. within six days thereafter send us full details in writing supported by appropriate documentary evidence such as a doctor's note or medical certificate
  3. respond fully and promptly to any request we may make for further information or evidence relative to the claim.

and we would then refund you as above at the end of the holiday period concerned. We may be able to refund you as above earlier than this if we have been able to re-let the holiday period concerned.
